Syma S032 Big Brother Review
Brief Review of The Syma S032
This is the Big Brother of The Syma S107-My Review.
This is not a little Bird. This is something different To A Syma S107.
As you guys know I am a Syma Freak with all the Syma Helicopters and could not help myself but buy the big brother of the Syma S107-The Syma S032. So decided to post a brief review on the big Brother S032.

That is just the start, this is a much bigger heli than a Syma S107 as you can see by the specifications above. More Below
Bad points of the Syma S032
1: I feel very much even tho the 032 Syma is faster due to bigger rear tail motor it is not a complete out door heli-It must be a real calm day no wind to fly this big bird. Was hoping to fly in hurricanes-lol
2: Know I am fussy but would like to have seen spare rotor blades in the deal package.
3: No USB charging like the Syma S107 and takes 40 minutes to charge from wall charger.
5: When the motors get hot, they draw more amps and that's when the board stops working and the radio contact is lost and the heli drops. Do not fly more than 8- 10 minutes even tho can go for 15 mins-just my view.
6: Instructions written poorly in manual-guess trying to translate from Chinese to English.
Not many problems yet but only had 12 flights-Flying this heli every day I will post on any other bad points I find.
Good Points of Syma S032
1: Much better remote than the Syma S107 as not infra-red which is a plus for flying outside - photo below
2: The S032 hovers really well with a small bit of forward slide. the Syma helicopters are well made. Outdoor flying for the Syma S032 is doable but stay out of heavy winds. It can fly a fair way from you on a calm day and you still have control.
3: The battery life is about 10-15 mins. depending on how much you use the throttle it. Charges with in 40 mins. It is 12 inches long, 6 inches tall, about 2 inches wide. Has awesome powder fleck paint.
I have decided to keep this as brief as possible with out bashing how good this Syma S032 is as you know me as a lover of the (Syma S107 (Review)
I feel this could be a great plus if your already have a Syma S107. The Syma S032 will fly outside on a calm day. It is not really expensive to buy, but I ask the question of what are your needs for a bigger heli- Hey guys not trying to put you off the Syma S032 it is a cool big bird-However if you are just starting off flying mini helicopters to me stick with the Syma S107: It is a well proven heli- Just have my doubts about the Syma S032 as really just the same parts and concept but just bigger: Look really open to comments on this- Post below.
I own a Syma S032 but guess got into the S107 for indoor flying, so you might see not as enthusiastic on the bigger brother Syma S032. Hey this is just my feel about it-do your research. If this was my first heli to buy I would be wrapped-however bought the Syma S107 first.
12/28/: Syma 032 Update:
Well over the Christmas period really hammered the Syma So32: I have to say I got some really good outdoor flights on calm days, and got a small crowd around me in the local park-thank God I did not have a crash!-Tried my spy key chain camera attached with Velcro on the S032, not really very successful as balance was a problem so no really good videos to show yet-All in all have got a liking to this big bird-More reports soon
01/02/ Syma 032 Update
I am 90% wrapped in the Syma 032, the only thing that bugs me is the charging time around 30- 40 mins, guess I should buy two-like I have around 11 Syma S107 helicopters so there is one always charged ready to fly. Would like to see Syma organize removable lipo batteries like some of my other makes of helicopters like the Nine Eagles-however prices then jump up.
30th Jan Syma S032G UPDATE:
I noted that I have a older model Syma S032 that has the smaller 11.8cm blades the latest version has 14.1cm blades. So I bought some from Amazon and put them on my old model-The change was amazing-lifted off with less throttle and control was greatly improved, also means less chance of burning out motors and noticed longer flying time less throttle, really worth the upgrade for around $6.
Hey Guys just bought the biggest big brother to the Syma S032G- The Syma S031G
Review now on the S031G -I bought the Syma S031G from Amazon
All in all I would buy the Syma S107 first, then add the 032G to your army of helicopters.

The crazy German dude is the main reason I have been sold on SYMA ‘copters.
He is crazy-do not recommended you do the same as he does – lol
What is the largest battery that will fit in the S032?
Is there a trick to get a little more forward speed on the S032. I have noticed at times the S032 has a hard time fighting a very light head wind.
If flying the S032 in any wind very hard to get fast forward flying-Have changed props to bigger helps a bit-but wind really kills the speed
I have the S107. This helicopter flew like none other I have ever had, but suddenly it developed power surging. I have treated the battery well, and never overcharged or drained it completely. It has never had a severe crash. Is it possible the battery needs to be replaced? I wrote to the company but have not received a reply as of yet. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
i’ve had the syma s107 for almost a week flying it all the time, i want the s032, what do u think of this choice
Hi guys, My son flew his bird with the anntenna hanging down. well, it finally got wrapped and broken off short. Have not yet removed the cowl to check out the connection. Hope I can solder it back…
any experience with this error?
thanks, bob
@bob Nielson If wire antenna wire not broken really near solder joint bear the wires and rejoin-you could use liquid electrical tape rather than soldering, handy stuff to have around-keep me posted
Hi,
I want to buy an S032 from a local store for around $40AU.
Is it worth it or should I get it from RcFever?
Just saw that it is $40 on RcFever as well.
@Josh-64 Rcfever is where I buy most of my helis, postage a little expensive but products genuine-RcFever Link
I’ll find out what it will cost to get it out here and gauge from that, but if I get it at this shop I could save the postage.
It’s around $31 postage plus the $40 for the actual product. I’m not prepared to pay $70 for a heli worth $40
I might try ebay there is one there from hong kong for $43 free postage. Just worried about it being fake.
@Gary Greeler Thank you for info-have to say am a bit stuck on buying from RcFever as they seem to be genuine parts which is crucial to me
as have bought elsewhere that ended up being nothing like what I required-Thanks for the input-keep it coming SF
I have two(2) S107’s and they are a trip. I use my bed(made up) as my heli landing pad. Air Conditioning vent drives them nuts, so try and avoid them.
I’ve just recently purchased a S032 in the Silver/Blue colors.
It flies ok, but I seem to get some unusual shaking while in flight.
Any suggestions?
I’ve checked everything I can, holding it and running it up and down on the speed. Maybe it’s me.
Should I have to balance these blades?
Thanks,
Edward
@ Edward, what size blades do you have? older model Syma S032 that has the smaller 11.8cm blades the latest version has 14.1cm blades really helps the Syma S032
I have the s 032 g what do you do with all this wire from the anntenna?
@JD I just wrap around landing gear neatly
Thanks
Why do the say the S032G is a 3.5 channel? What’s the .5? Its really just a 3 channel like any other as far as I can tell
@wiki
the .5 is the high – low power adjustment
The battery is removable, unscrew the little screw on the bottom holding the hatch on and un plug it…..
Good morning SF. Last night I flew her and she did great! 5full minutes of hard flying.I was pleasently surprised how much better she did.Good to know you haven’t changed your battery yet.I read about a 3.7volt 650ma.lipo.My s107 is a true warrior! I didn’t keep proper track of the flights, but I know she has had at least 50 flights and consistant charge times of 50 min. Flight times are 6-8 min! I’m a happy Badger! Badger1017.
Hello everyone! Got my S032 today. I’m currently on the third charge. I flew her in my living room “11×22”. It’s a blast! I am experiencing surges from the motors as the battery depletes. I also lost a buckle that couples the top rotor during a ceiling scrape. I’m happy to have it and will learn as I go.I also have come to the conclusion that the stock battery may have to go. Let me know what you guys think. 1017 The Badger
@badgersden Good on you the Syma S032 is a bigger beauty than the Syma S107 and reacts in the same way but just quicker-Do not forget to let the battery cool down between flights before recharge-will last longer-did review on Syma S032Just bought a Syma S031-bigger still from RcFever Will do a review soon. You have to love these helis for the price-So happy you are having fun Badgersden- SF
Absolutly! I’m on my 9th charge.Charge times started at 1hr8min. and now have dropped to 40-45min.I keep flight times to 5min.I’ve noticed she is very tired at5min. Also the surges were worse at first but have lessened.I over charged the battery this afternoon.”OUCH” NO noticable changes yet. When it does the power drop if I apply hard right and left rudder it will surge. Is this a controller issue or pcb? I know with you guys help’ I’ll learn and enjoy! What about battery upgrade? Thanks guy’s!
@badgerseden, not changed battery on Syma S032 yet-still doing ok will post when I have to do it-still enjoying this bird!! I have noticed if remote batteries get a bit low control changes-try a new set-let me know-Always feel free to join my Syma forum-could be good to post your comments there-keep them coming buddy-just love this s—
copter skoots around on the floor any suggestions. It looks like the buckle joining the top blades is no longer vertical
@Waynet That could be the problem-did this happen after a bad crash? Try to unscrew top bracket and inspect for a crack in the plastic-if so there is your problem-if not check out flybar top of Syma S032-Let me know
