That's not the nicest thing he's done for me. He traded me a gorgeous 70's vintage, pinned and recessed S&W model 27 revolver, for a POS S&W Sigma that I had bought and hated. He didn't mind the Sigma, and wanted me to have something I would shoot. Cool But that's a bit off topic...

Probably just as well. The heli in question has been cannibalized. It gave up its tail motor to get my 107 back into flying condition. Wink

Guys I have deleted all the posts that were rude to each other as I just do not stand for that sought of rubbish talk-We are here to discuss our Syma helis and enjoy are time chatting to other fellow Syma addicts like we all are- Supernova has closed this topic which I agree. I was tempted to delete the whole topic ,however drewdane asked a good question on the S110G

I will talk with Supernova that helps a great deal in moderating this forum to see if he thinks we should unblock this topic.

Will let you know. I can tell you this is a free forum with free speech, however there are a lot of young people with Syma helis reading the posts and I will not stand for personal rudeness in any way to let them see rubbish talk. Yell

Drewdane, the word from the hive is, the only thing I can think of is the gear is slipping at the bottom of the main shaft, it is only press fit with a mini spline so could be loose, just needs pushing up the shaft a bit you can do this with a small flat head screwdriver against the main frame.

My buddy's s11g is down with mechanical issues, which he described to me over the phone. The top main rotor doesn't turn when he throttles up, but he can give it a twirl and it will keep going. Still, it doesn't produce enough lift to go more than about 8 inches above the deck. What thinks the hive?
