New copter not charging

at first i did and the light on the usb charge cable come on after about 35 mins. now whn i plug it in the charge cable light comes on straght away or if i use th reciever the green light goes out straght away as if it were fully charged. i have left it plugged in in this state but it dosent get any charge

i have just recieved a new syma s107g, when i charge it the green light on the reciever goes out almost straght away and the usb charge cable red light comes on after about 20 seconds. when i then try to fly it the rotors spin the will cut out after a few seconds. 

 

any ideas???
