Top Rotor Motor not Turning but Power to it & Resistance

I got a "Lightning" with a video camera in it, which I understand is an S107.  It worked great for a few weeks but yesterday it started flying badly for a few seconds and then the top rotor stopped spinning altogether.  The motor for the top rotor is not turning but the motor for the bottom rotor does turn normally.  There is the "clickity" resistance present when you turn the top rotor by hand.  I used a meter to measure voltage to the top rotor motor and it spikes up when I throttle up, so I know there is power to the motor, and the "clickity" resistance suggests to me that the motor is working.

By the way, it has both green and red LEDs and a green mother board.

Any suggestions?
