Thanks for all the replies.  I think a couple of the comments and suggestions may be part of my problem.  I have just about all of the above in my flying space so I'll see what I can eliminate.

They are also very susceptible to wind draughts, not saying that is your problem-also if you put your fingers over the front of the blue lights on the remote will stop radio signal

Hello to all from NW Arkansas!  I'm new to the R/C helicopter world, so far it's great fun!  I can vouch the Syma blows the Airhogs out of the water.  The kids wanted an airhog for christmas but I wanted a Syma!  So I ended up getting both  :-). No comparison in flight abilility.  Air hog was all over the place and the Syma 107g was super stable.  The air hog went back amd another Syma on the way.

I am having an issure that I hope you can help me with.  The throttle just seems to be randomly dropping out completely on me.  I can be flying along or hovering and the throttle just quits.  It happens at all ranges of rpms.  Battery at full charge.  Sometimes it drops for a split second and picks back up mid air, other times it drops longer and sends the chopper to the ground.  Its making it impossible to fly. Any help figuring out whether its the radio signal dropping or a faulty part would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Also cf light bulbs will knock it out of the air. If I can figure out how to put up pictures, I will show a pic of my mutilated lamp shade...sco_hmmthink

First off LCD tv's can sometimes  have a effect on them , then there bright lights . the ones on my chandlier  in my kitchen will make it drop like a rock if I fly to close. then there sunlight.. bright sunlight streaming through the window can somtimes. affect them...  one last thing is u cover the blue eye on the remote can make it act weird . well I hope that helps. ....

                             Happy. flying
