@Ocinsomniac Remote helis are addictive, once you put your toe in the water and fly a Syma you are hooked- Glad to hear you got one from RcFever I have bought a lot of helis from them, not the cheapest postage but ones I bought are all genuine.

The blade is a great heli,so are Walkera Helis but don't rush to buy one yet,get confident flying the Syma S107 then move up-Thanks for your feed back SFWink

Hey all -

Am a retired senior citizen newb from the Atlanta area, just started learning to fly last week with my new Syma S006. All I can say is why didn't they have toys like this when I was a kid? (many years ago!)

Got interested a few weeks ago watching a sales guy at a mall kiosk do demos while pitching his ware. Couldn't believe this RC technology would be so relatively inexpensive, even with the inflated prices this mall huckster was charging on rebadged Syma knock offs.

Did some research on the net and found this site and some others with some good info. Syma Freak was kind enough to lend some sage advice when I told him I was in the market for a mini indoor flyer. Ordered an S107G from RC Fever along with some spare parts on 6/26, just arrived today. Was very pleased with this little red one, flew like a charm right out of the box, very stable & responsive, no need for trimming. Think I'll order a blue one and a yellow one to make a matching set. Cool

Would like eventually learn to well enough to get a good outdoor park flyer like a mid-sized Blade, but that's a long way off, but it sure is fun just learning. I reckon that guy from the mall kiosk done created a monster! Embarassed
