Hi Steve!  Flashing states!  LOL

I'll check the connections tonight.  The best deal I see is at Amazon 6 something with free shipping for the tail rotor assembly

Andy,  check those solder connections at the board.   Mine was loose.  think the impact of the battery against the terminal broke a connection apart.  I resoldered and it worked for me.    If not the tail motors are pretty cheap 4 or 5 bucks.   I saw those lites flashing in my state too, Louisiana! ha!

HI Supernova

I took that in to consideration and pulled up on it; leaving a .1mm space.  My brother-in-law thought the prop was too lose.  But it takes a lot to pull it off.  So I might be looking at a new rotor assembly?  I don't mind soldering but I am a shaky one!

I need to get back on the water with the boats.  Skipped last season! 🙂

Hi Andy and welcome to the forum.

The little flashing light, is as you say, it will go solid when connected to the Transmiter.

The tail rotor blade is it pushed down to far on the drive motor ?

BTW I am into Gas model power boats.

My name is Andy and I think the Syma S107G is the greatest flying model ever offered.  I have 2.  I have gotten pretty darn good at flying too.  I also like fast electric R/C boats.

I was wondering what that little LED on the PCB is.  I have learned (possibly) it has something to do with connecting to the radio?  I have seen it in 4 states: flashing fast, flashing slow, steady, off.

Also, I have a tail rotor issue.  Sometimes it spins, sometimes it does not.  When it does its not enough to change direction.  I am think about replacing the motor but want to be sure thats the problem.  Any thoughts?

Thanks and have a nice Monday!
