Hi Jacob, another welcome here!
Thanks for joining and I hope you get all
your questions answered here, if not, please post
and we will do our best to reply.
The forum has been quiet lately, either mid-
summr or mid-winter, depending on where you are from.
Enjoy yourself and safe and happy flying!

Thank you buddy for being there, much appreciated from all of us.
I know the look of the site needs a upgrade, but basically because of the forum folks come to the site for information and not to buy, which of course helps to pay for hosting etc.
I am considering a few changes, but see so many sites change their look and disappear from the radar, we still get over 20,000 views a month after 5 years, guess we are doing something right. Again thank you all for your input, it has created a lot of help for everyone that enjoys this hobby.

Another hello and welcome to ALL new pilot members!
Sorry I haven't been able to greet each of you personally but rest assured,
we are glad you are here. Please keep posting and checking in often!
After Christmas was over, we had a blizzard here dumping over 30 inches
of snow which has only partially melted, and to make matters worse,
yesterday we had an EF2 tornado hit on the eastern end of
the county, EXTREMELY RARE for this area, much less in February!
Thankfully no one was hurt but keeping me at work constantly as
I am in the home improvement retail business. Hate to say it, but I miss
being on here sometimes.
I can't believe it has been 4 years now since I have been on this forum!
2/14/2012 was my first post after getting an S111 for Christmas that year.
Thanks SF and Supernova (and CPD, wherever you are) for keeping us going.
There were about 400 members back then, so this forum has quadrupled in
size! I have really enjoyed following your threads not related to model helis
also, as stories like these kind of tie our friendships together around the world!
When we started, the S107 was the real deal, then the trend was toward
the nano-copters, and then quads and drones, which is where we are now.
Who knows what the next 4 years will bring?!
Redfive,Sarge,MikeK and all of you following the quad development:
Please read the previous sentence! The X56 and the X8HG are on our
doorstep. Maybe not DJi's, but way less $$$ and as good quality
which we expect from Syma!
Keep your posts coming in everyone! It's been a great 4 years and
I am looking forward to many more. Happy and safe flying!
JamDJ
