thank you for all your help. I actually only paid $4 for this remote from Amazon.

Is there a trick to know if it is a real remote?

Red also means fake remote. Real Heli, fake remote'll screw you up a lot.

My hybrid one has a red LED that goes green while charging, and slowly gets more red until it's solid regular red when it's done.

Have to return the remote, and buy a real heli. Then you have to hope it's a 3ch/abc and not one of the random 2ch/ab ones on both ends. A heli without the remote's one of those "gifts that keep on taking." About as bad as a dog, cat or one of those toys where you have to keep buying all of the accesories.

Hi and welcome, has the remote ( controller ) got an ariel because it should not have one, the channel selector is the switch on the pannel marked A B C below the blue sender lights. hope this helps.

I am a noob here and I was just givin a S107G without a remote.  I went on Amazon and bought a remote but for some reason I cannot get the 107G to work.  Where do I find what channel my copter is?  Also on the remote is there a color scheme for the power light?  It just stays red.

thank you
