Thank you Syma Freak and Supernova,

I am much better at crashing planes than flying them, but I do try. Need more simulator time I guess.Laugh

My previous home had 8 foot ceilings, so the 12 foot ceiling should prove quite spacious!

Glad for the optional crashing advise, I'm sure it will come in handy while I'm exploring opportunities for mods and repairs!

Welcome Drivin_Dave I live in Aussie and also fly planes, however our summer has just been rain every day nearly, that is when the indoor Syma heli just cranks fun flying at home-might add my dog has taken two out of flight with a leap off a chair, they hate them buzzing above their heads-Any way have fun here.Smile

Just wanted to say Hi.

I registered this morning before leaving to work and was thinking how nice it would be to fly a heli inside the comfort of my house, instead of being outside in the buckets of rain that were pouring down!

I purchased an S107 from Amazon.com on Thursday after an afternoon of research, I narrowed my choices down to the S107 or an Avatar F103. I chose the S107 because of the massive number of reviews and availability of spare parts. Then I came across this site dedicated to this cool little heli.

I had a foamie toy micro copter that was okay for it's limited ability, but was left wanting a better flight experience.

After crashing my RC Corsair Warbird last week and busting up the prop, I decided it was time for an inside flyer.

I don't see too many windless days here in Kentucky this time of year.

My livingroom is 20 feet by 22 feet and has a cathedral ceiling which should provide plenty of room for flying. Unfortunately the home is also equipped with a 6 month Miniature Dachshund who is also part Great White Shark, mostly in the teeth!

Needless to say, I fear for the safety of my soon to arrive Syma S107. Mods and repairs will be frequent!

Fly well!
