I also have an Extreme S3.5G. When I received it I knew zilch about r/c helis. I Googled Syma and next thing you know, I have 4 Symas. S800G, S107C, S110G and the S3.5G.
Extreme RC seems to have some neat products. You basically have to stumble upon them. I tried contacting them several times on their website but no response. They have no provision for ordering online.

I really want this chopper, but can't figure out how to get one unless I stumble upon it by chance. After the holidays I'll try phoning them.

Wow, that was perhaps the fastest reply I've ever seen on here!
Good to hear they're an authorized type. Might have to break with my "s800g's phasing out s107g's" rule for my squad and look into one or two to proactively-replace my older ones. (i.e. replace them before they need replaced, if you know what I'm getting at)
The Syma Extreme S3.5G is a Syma S107G distributed by RSi in Michigan and is an authorized Syma dealer in the USA.
Theyre usually sold in 7-11 Stores, Hess gas stations, and some other stores.
I thought they were fake also, so i called RSi, and then i also called Syma, and Syma e-mailed me and told me they are indeed authorized sellers.
The Extreme S3.5G is the newest model of the 107 style.
I own a red one and it flies great!
Don't know. Must be a new thing they're stamping them with for the new year's models. Probably updated the gyro, and maybe put some rudimentary version of a speed control in it. Not sure what they mean, probably just a marketing gimmic. "Oh, dose Americanz, dey like when tings say Extreem! We need somting tat say Extreem on it. What yoo tink?" (Sorry if that offended anybody, that's just my style of humor sometimes, like 1am...)
As for promoting the site, don't worry, I've already already said about it to some people who've bought syma helis at the mall, and if I ever actually see anybody looking at the overpriced rc helis at JC Pennies I'll have to recomend these things and the forums. (and if my one friend from up here ever gets the one he's been saying he's been going to get, we'll have him on here sometimes... probably)
OK, so I was on my home from work today when I saw this display at the grocery store;
just inside the front door was a huge display of Christmas gifts they were selling, RC cars,
trucks, and helicopters! I took another look as the heli looked suspeciously like our 107s.
Shure enough, the boxes and the models appeared to be genuine 107s:
1.) It was advertised as a 3.5G Extreme by Syma
2.) Colors were red, blue and yellow, like the old ones...
3.) Looked EXACTLY like my collection except:
graphics said 3.5G where the S107 is above the canopy,
had the name "extreme" located on each side of the headlight.
4.) Remote control even had the same decals!
Does anyone have any idea what a 3.5G Extreme is? I understand the 3.5 (three and
1/2 channel, and G = gyro) but I didn't know this variation existed! What is so Extreme about it?
Looked nothing more than a 107! Even the packaging was the same as our 107, complete with the
hologram-type printing! The price on the sign was $29.00. I almost wrote over it, "Try (our website!)"
For those of you in the northeast United States, it was Weiss Supermarket!
Best wishes and looking foreward to your replies.........
