Ok...more information .

I called RSi, and they told me the Sky Master 4ch and the 4G from RSi are both made by SYMA.  They just put their names on it, so all copters purchased from 7-11 stores are SYMAs.  The 4ch says Exceed on the side.

During Christmas, RSi was swamped with orders and had to get a few from Sky Master's warehouse and they put RSi stickers on the box over Sky Masters labels.  So there ya have it.  Theyre SYMAs.

And some SYMAs dont use the modular jack for charging either. A few models use the direct plug in coaxial jack.

All parts are available from RSi.

Well i think getting it as a Christmas gift is cheaper...lol  🙂

I dont know if SkyMaster is the actual factory where it has been constructed, but it says that on the box under the stickers, so i guess RSi is also a distributor of SkyMaster products.  On SYMA's website, i dont see a copter like this one at all, so maybe its not a SYMA clone at all.

I cant seem to find a SkyMaster website.  The closest i could find only designs and sells planes.

SkyMaster sells on Amazon and Ebay.

The Heli flies very well and is very responsive and peppy. So far im happy with it really, and id purchase another.

Hope you got this cheaper than what Amazon is charging - $32.99 + $6.77 shipping.

Ok, i finally peeled off the price sticker in the top right corner revealing another sticker that said Sky Master.

So thats where RSi got this from.

Thanks zedorda.......but this isnt the same Exceed, im sure.  They used the name on this clone.

I see others on the web under different names with the same box, same number stuck on the bottom right corner.

It flies well, and im happy with it.  I just wanted to know what it was.

Im still calling RSi tomorrow to see why they needed to sell a clone of a SYMA 4ch, when they could get the real SYMA, unless someone stole RSi's info for the fake warranty info and put it on this box.

Ok, i just looked at my box compared to the Sky Master.......Its the same exact copter, same box, same  7167 number sticker on the bottom front corner.......but it doesnt say Sky Master on it.   I guess people just put their labels on it and sell it as their own.

Exceed is a large supplier in their own right and make several lines of helicopter.  Here is a whole page of their products on Xheli.com.

This one has arms out the side with a propeller on each arm so it can also move side to side.  Its a 4 ch.

Its not a 107.  Its like a 107 with arms.

SYMA is not even mentioned anywhere on the box or inside the box, and the charge plug is a hole not 2 prongs.

Im calling RSi tomorrow.  The exact one isnt named on the SYMA or RSi web page.

I think someone cloned a clone...lol.

They copied RSi instead of SYMA this time.....lol.

Also....this one isnt an Extreem model.   This one says Exceed.   It flies well, i like it, but i just want to know where it came from.

They give warranty information from RSi, but its a sticker on the box instead of directly printed on it like the real RSi boxes authorized by SYMA.

Looks alot like the one in this video.....same style, not exact model though.

Mine looks exactly like the one on this web page....says Exceed on it and its green just like this one....but doesnt say Sky Master on the box.

Ill find out tomorrow, Thanks CPD.

I belive what you're describing is the Extreme 107g, which there's already a topic about. It's a real, legit syma sold under a different brand at 7/11's and a few other places. They don't have the Syma name on them because they're sold under a different name, but they very much are part of the s107 family.

Has anyone ever heard of the Metali 4ch SYMA 4G clone distributed by RSi to 7-11 stores in USA???

I received one for Christmas, and it flies well, but it doesnt say SYMA anywhere on the box r paperwork, but is distributed by RSi who is an authorized distributer of SYMA copters.  All the warranty stickers etc. on the box are stickers that say to call the phone number for service rather than going back to the store and they give the phone number to RSi.

On my genuine SYMA copters distributed by RSi, the labels are printed right on the box and not stickered, which leads me to believe that maybe RSi doesnt even distribute these.  Theyre closed right now, so i have to try to call later or tomorrow etc.

It flies well, SYMA parts fit it, so im fine with owning it, and it was a gift and i didnt pay for it.

It goes in the same directions as the S107G, but add side to side movement because it has 2 extra propellers, one on each side arm.

It reacts very fast and is agile. Much more responsive than my 107's are, and took some getting used to.....but its a decent copter fake or not.

Anyway, just wanted to share, and also see if anyone else had any info.  Ill try to get a hold of RSi and see what they can tell me.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and got lots of copters!!!  🙂
