Check out JMbishop's topic on his battery mods. Make the most out of it, and replace them with something better!

Yeah your right about that, should have ordrered another complete with remote. So, now tonight I try to fly the other one I got from RC, and when I charge it with the USB, the heli charges, however the red light on the USB won't glow bright when the heli is charged. I think the battery may have been damaged during the short period of timeI had the fake heli USB cable hooked up to it. This really stinks. Now I dont dare charge it anymore for fear of messing something else up. Two brand new heli's, can't fly either one

They had a bad batch with bad gears. There are clones out there that are better, and my first one's a rebuilt fake that flies very well, although the real one's much nicer flying. What you really should have done was kept the fake, and get annother one w. the charger and remote. Not worth it to get rid of any of them.

Spend the $4 for a full set of gears, replace them, and it'll be great. If it wasn't for my real one being torn down for a little project, I'd be flying it regularly.

Sorry for the bad experience, though. Allways a few bad ones from such a large production of cheap chineese things.

I bought my first syma 107 from amazon.com. After flying it for two weeks and crashing it into everything conceivable and having alot of fun doing it I decided I wanted a couple more. So, I orderd two more 107's from RC Fever.com.

After I recieved the two heli's from rc fever, I tried to charge them with no luck. After some investigation I found out that the first heli I bought from Amazon was a fake. Although the tail piece had been broken and glued back on, Amazon took the heli back, gave me a full refund, very good people to deal with.

Ordered another from Amazon and got an authentic 107, now I was able to charge the two heli's I got from RC Fever. After flying one of them for only two minutes one of the gears broke a tooth off. Nice. I flew the fake heli for at least a total of one and a half hours total flying time, crashed it too many times to count, and it kept on flying. The only reason I returned it was because the usb cord would not charge my actual 107's from rc. In my opinion, so far, the fake was more responsive, took way more punishment, and was more fun to fly. Dealing with RC fever is a pain, due to language barrier, and long distance away. NOT TO IMPRESSED WITH THE ACTUAL SYMA 107!
