Is the X6 same as the "Exreme 360" quadcopter that was sold by Walmart?

Hi Biomanflies,

First of all, welcome to the forum and I think I can shed some light on

your dilemma..... SF, I got this one.......

Yes the Extreme and the X6 ARE the exact same quad. Both made by Syma

while the Extreme was made for Wal*Mart and subsiderary retailors. The dead give-away

is the remote (Rx) and the graphics on both the quad itself and the Rx, just different stickers applied

to the same flying machine. If you can get an Rx for an X6, it will bind. Syma makes helis and

quads under many different brand names, notably in the USA they make them for Target,

Toys-R-Us, what's left of Radio Shack, as well as private label for several American-based

hobby websites.

You didn't tell us in your inquiry as how you got yours and why there was not an Rx with your

purchase? The Rx is available on Heli-parts.com, but please check here with SF first.

Good luck and happy and safe flying!

Hi mate and welcome to the forum.

Now I am not sure about the Extreme as they were not sold in Australia where I live. The only advice I can give is be careful spending money on remote, better to buy the X5C as a bit better. You could try this remote, but no guarantee will bind with your quad. Sorry could not help more, you could by a original X6 but again not certain if that remote will bind with Extreme and the X6 is a bit out of date now and hard to find for sale. SF

They look nearly identical.  The Extreme is out of production, but i was hoping to figure out how to get it flying again.  Transmitter is missing, so I'm trying to figure out hwo toe get a transmitter that can communicate with it. Any help appreciated.
