My heart is with you, you are saying you lost a son? Not really sure how to say things - Yes I am now old dude in my 60's with Grand kids, so easy to say sorrow, much harder to mean something special- can not find the words I need. I have a old 15 year old dog that is so part of my old life..but buddy I need to think on your loss, how you and your family coping, can we help in any way?

I think my avatar might give it away!  I have always but always loved animals and over the years had a great variety which all have given me much fun and love in their own peculiar way, but by far the greatest of them all are my ferrets. These guys really know how to party! Once youv'e got past he biting stage, it's onward and upward. They are sort of half cat half dog type of character and currently my wife and I have 17, this is the lowest amount we've had in years. It's nearly 20 years now since we started rescuing them, and have had some that have been really mistreated at it's height we had 129 ferrets and polecats, but now because of my disability I am not able to easily muck them out etc. but my wife loves them with a passion as do I and she is out with them several hours a day. I will sort out my vid on YouTube and paste a link soon. Over the years I have become quite knowledgeable on these little critters and often write articles about them and their welfare, even the vets phone up from time to time asking various questions.

Last week we lost one of our boys, a mongrel, Bob he was 14 and it has been a great loss, our other dog Billy has been looking all over for him, tragic really. Our pets are with us all the time aren't they and sometimes we take them for granted, and when they're gone there's a big hole left....it's so quiet.

I also run a flock of pigeons and lately in the strong winds to see these birds race in the sky above 75/80 it really is quite exhilarating watching them Go!

Anyways, nice writing I will sign off and get some piccies sorted.

Looks like my first year of boy scout summer camp... the one kid had to take a bunch of scrap boards from a building they were redoing and build a boardwalk to get to his tent. I think he had like 3 inches of water in front of his tent, and it was big enough in size to park a couple of full size good ole American cars, like Lincolns or something.

I would like to introduce you to Max my Border Collie. This picture was taken in the Yorkshire Dales on Crummack Dale Moor this was on a walk we did earlier this year and was about 9 miles. He loves to come out with our group and is a firm favourite with everyone, and as far as he is concern earned they are all his friends. It was hard work to train him at first but now he is a very obedient dog and always comes when he is called, so now he can be trusted to run free and climb stiles and round us all up .

I thought it might be fun to talk about our pets, and the experience they get with you flying around them, but more inportant is how they effect your life.Post photos, and fun things you do with your pets...

I have a Staffy got from the dog pound 14 years ago..called Billie, she is a female dog and when I got her was a year old and been used to breed fighting dogs as already had pups, guess she had been hit a lot around the head as even now cringes when you go to pat her head..For the first year with me she was an escape artist, think she has a lot of Aboriginal ideas in her mind and used to love to go "Walk about" I live in Manly Sydney and once she jumped my 6 foot fence and got herself onto the ferry that takes you to the city of Sydney!!! From Circular Wharf I got a call from the ferry Captain telling me we have your dog in our main cabin watching out the window,we will bring her back on the return trip!! What a day she had, even now when I take her near the Manly Wharf we go and see the wharf guys as any one with a like yellow vest she goes up to wagging her tail.

Guess she has 9 cat lives-lol ..now she is old and has cancer, but is fighting it well..no more operations to hard on a old dog.

She has attacked a few of my helis with success, however loves to come to the field, barking at the planes and quads I fly but now realizes the blades hurt,so she creeps up on them if landed and pisses on them..many esc's replaced!!

Any how guys tell us your fun moments with your pet mates..SF Smile
