Cool! I'm convinced these things are faster than and more efficient than the s107g, especially if you tune the connecting rods. On mine, I have them set to the extra set of holes and then adjusted the ends to trim flat/steady. Now all you need is some poly carbonate rods for the supports and some tubing for the tailboom, maybe some more on the landing gear. How awesome would it look to have that CF bird, then take the extra canopy, paint it to look like CF, add some cool neon stripes, then take translucent polycarbonate tubes and rods to replace the tailboom, tailboom supports and landing skids? Extra points for managing to make it all fiber optic, especially working off of the light already given off by the stock LED!!! Heck, mod it so the stripes in the canopy are cut into it, replaced by colored polycarb plastic to match the rest. Fly it around at night, and you've got an awesome little birdy!!!

That is awesome pointblank9957, did you cut all the carbon fiber parts yourself? ssig_goodjob2

Thanks! And yes I sure did, it was pretty easy. It was a 1mm x 4" x 4" plate, lay the originial piece over, drilled the mounting holes and cut out the general shape. Then double sided tape the part to the carbon piece and use a dremel with a sand drum to match the shape of the original part.

Hey guys, I'm new here. I've had the S800G 4ch for a few months and love it! It was my first heli, but not rc. In my quest for a longer run time, I made all flat parts out of carbon fiber and elimimated what was not needed. I ended with this:
