Thanks, yeah I liked the swift until I started looking for blades, noob to heli flying so nicked the blades up pretty badly and they are rare as hens teeth to replace, I may try to cobble something up on the sky rover, but more interested in the 107g can't wait for it to arrive. Welcome! I saw those walmart helis, and I'm always thinking "Dang, these things are soooo much more than Symas, when they're in the same class!" I'm sure we here can help plenty when you get to modifying them and start breaking them. Keep us posed with your mods--there's a lot of helis with the same basic mods done, but everybody has their own flare and does them a wee bit differently. Always interesting to see what little differences people can come up with.

Just ordered a 107g, started with a wal-mart heli "sky rover swift" it worked good enough to give me the bug, did some research and settled on the syma (lots of spare parts availability), then ran across this online community. I'm sure that I will buy a couple more for Frankenstein time under the dremel lol
