I go for a full drain until the rotors won't turn then allow the cool down before a full recharge. allow another cool down between charging and flying. That extends the battery life. I'm not sure a multimeter can show how reliable a battery is but I'm sure someone will correct me.

Hi,

The instructions for my S031G and S032G are not that clear to me about battery charging.  I understand that it is advisable to wait at least 15 minutes after turning the heli off before charging, but when do you decide to turn off, do you run the battery down until it wont turn the rotors any more, or do you turn off once the heli starts to lose height, or does it matter when?

I also realise the batteries do not last forever, are there any checks that can be made with a multimeter to determine if the battery is still usable?

Any advice would be gratefully received.
