I had similar problems with two of my S107G's.
Power, gears meshed, solid shaft and rotor fixture connnections, no dog hair, etc.
The first one (before I bought a multimieter) failed at 319 and the other at 471 minutes. I replaced the battery on the first one and I still had the problem of low power. Finally it became apparent that Motor B was failing. I replaced Motor B and the problem was solved. On the second heli I could not figure out this same problem. The battery was good (Thank You Mr Multimeter). I really kept trying to fly it under close observation(s). I finally noticed that the lower blades (Motor A) were really just spinning from the interaction with the top rotor blades Motor B (White) more from the Motor A (Black). I replaced Motor A (Black) and the problem was solved.
In a similar note at 406 minutes the first repaired heli started to exhibit "circular" hovering, pitching and yawing, and really fast and uncontrollable flight . It appears the Main Shaft is/has failed. I have ordered some more replacement parts. I hope the replacement solves this problem.
I still have 3 birds flying and I am awaiting the delivery of two S107N's
At this point I have to thank SuperNova and all the other Self Help contributors.
As a also plane flyer-glue on a heli is dangerous-they really do not need it. Any heli needs new parts, really well organized, as in soldering,etc-glue is the last option- more a desperate move-hey just my view!

Well sir ... I've taken this little lady apart so many times I have become good at it. The problem is I can't seem to figure out how the shaft and the gear assembly is suppose to behave. The shaft moves up and down, but to what extent it should do that I don't know. I tried SG places I thought would be the right places to glue, but so far no luck. Getting the heli lined up to put back together isn't that bad ... keeping the led lights in their little slot can be trying at times. I'd like to get the heli flying again, but she may end up as parts if I can't figure out how to get her power back to her. With so many people buying this model I'm surprised no one has put out a picture of the problem area and how it should work when the shaft is attached.
Hilly Ho!! Well sir ... I don't think I glue the right parts because it still won't fly ... however I did put another battery in making it two in the craft, it could be too heavy ... but I put the super glue in the center of the black triangle piece at the bottom and glue in the two holes on the triangle that goes over the little pins ... what did I do wrong?
Howdy!! Thank you so much! Well sir ... I've taken it apart and put it back together again twice so one more time isn't going to make much difference ... I see it is easier to loosen the screws and leave them in the holds and just open it up ... so it's the shaft eh? That's good news. At least now I know what needs to be fixed. I really appreciate your post.
Gear slip.... no doubt.... My first Syma was the 111 and the same thing happened.
As I've been reading posts on here, seems Syma needs to address this issue with the 111.
I've you have had a crash, the shaft becomes disconnected from the gearing assembly.
All the parts work but not fast enough to give the heli any lift.
Good news is thast it can be fixed, bad news is that it's just about impossible.
You need to take apart the body of the heli, all 16 micro-screws to get to the drive assembly
at the belly of the copter and apply super-glue to the shaft and gear contact points.
Putting it back together is even worse b/c you've got those 16 screws and the LEDs
need to line up on both sides of the frame.
I've tried it and can't get mine back together again to make it fly properly so this
one is going in the "hangar" and I'll probably get another one from SF's website.
Good luck and don't loose faith. Welcome to the forum.
to replace it, a shame since my original 111 was a X-mas gift.
