Pilot here, glad the Southampton school of wisdom is spreading your way.

I did an Astrophysics corse there but being a dimwit never made it CryEmbarassed

Hi Supernova,

I'm sure that you are not !

My model is classified as  Syma s108G

It's the Marine version of the 'Cobra Attack'. Bought it from Amazon.co.uk for about £20. It's all grey with the legend 'Force' on the side.

I'm in Woodbury , Devon.  Where are you ?

regards,

JohnLaugh

Just look up a 3.7 volt 250 mah battery. The original is 150 mah, but the 250 ones are about the best.

If they ever build a flying caddy, that'd be awesome!!!

Hi CPD,

You mean that a Cadillac cannot fly ?

Yes, the Symas are great. My neighbour has a s107G and thats what got me started recently.

Having problems with my s108G and think that the battery may be 'knackered' !  It won't take a full charge and cuts out completely even when some charge is left. Think I have recharged when 'hot' !Frown I can buy a replacement battery ok but need help as to how to go about it ! Do you know how ?

I don't have that one, but I have an s102g blackhawk, which is mechanically identical, and a great little bird. Flies like a Caddilac would if one could fly. (lol)

The good side of the plastic-bodied symas is they're all real and all fly insanely well, the bad side is they're not easy to mod...
