Here's the interesting thing I want to know.
For my Huey build, I want to put larger blades on to support the added weight of the new body, but looking at this, that might make it too hard to fly.
any suggestions? Should I take the risk and just spray paint the blades, buy ones off of the army symas, or the double horse ones I wanted in the first place?
thanks!
My first S107 I bought from 'trade me' a New Zealand version of 'e-bay'. I am convinced it is a genuine Syma and flys extremly well. After the blades got a bit tatty I decided to purchase a new set of blades to have on stand by. These longer blades I purchased from trade me also. The newer S107g is a lot more stable and seems to be finer in its control, it came with the longer blades.
Cheers.
@earthsea That is interesting as have not bought blades for a long time-where did you buy them?Try inverting tail motor to see if less turbulence to main rotors,7mm is a fair difference in size

When I bought my s107 new it came with main rotor blades 80 mm from hole to tip. The new blades I have just bought are 87 mm long and my wee bird flies different. I would love feed back to how come the difference in blade length. I prefer the 80 mm blades, my theory is that the longer blades interfere with the tail rotors action.
Good flying.
