I use a non-petroleum oil, myself, but some other guys will use a Teflon-based lubricant. I'll just fetch a video I made last year for ya. I have a bottle of non-petroleum model train oil that has a needle-tip applicator, which is electronics and plastics safe, and is easy to apply precisely. Supernova prefers to use his Teflon spray, if I remember right, which is also electronics safe, and probably lasts longer, as the oil tends to evaporate, since it's not actually Petroleum-based.
Hope this helps!

Do you lube up the main gears with some light grease, or something? Can these gears take these products....grease, light oil, etc? I know these
products like to collect dirt but I would thing would make the gears run smoother with less fiction. Maybe a good grade light silicon grease. We are
taking about S107G. This is a great forum....I love it.
