Well, if you're going to swap the motor, you can just as easilly cut the wires and switch them. I don't know of any other heli with a motor that's compatable, but I do know there has been a lot of people taking spare/replacement main motors and ataching them through *various* methods to the tail. (anything from hot glue to electrical tape... Not sure what would be best, but I don't think it's either of them...)

What would be nice to see would be an aftermarket plastic holder/motor combo with the main motor at an angle. Straight horizontal isn't optimal on these things--it would be best to have it be tilted, although the direction is something that is debatable) (tilt it back, and it will raise the tail higher, but it will give a small reverse thrust at the moment you hit the stick foreward, tilt it foreward, and it gives an instant of foreward push, but it wouldn't go as fast)
