Hmmm...you're right, there is a little slop. This is a handy tip for those used to no slop. Since I started with 107's, this slop must contribute to why I do not like the WLToys v911 transmitter, even after modding. If I could justify spending $ for a 9x and smartiepants upgrade I could add expo to compensate.

Having flown multi-channel R/C for quite a few years I was used to a nice tight control stick, that is when the stick is moved there is no slop, giving you immediate feedback as soon as the stick is moved in any direction. On the S107 controllers I've noticed approximately 1/8" of slop in all directions on the analog control stick. After taking the controller apart it is evident that the stick itself just sets on top of the potentiometer and is not secured in any way. Take the stick off, put a small dab of gel super glue in the hole and set it back on the potentiometer shaft. The shaft has a flat spot on one (or both sides, not sure which) as does the hole in the control stick so pay attention to the orientation before setting the stick on the shaft. Give the super glue a few minutes to set up and that's all there is to it. Now you have a nice tight control stick that will give you immediate feedback and finer control of your helo. If "potentiometer" is not the right word usage, one of you geeks feel free to correct me.Embarassed
