it can be confusing looking at the screen instead of the quad but it is fun.

I have just had my first ever FPV flight with a new hubsan H107D, only round the lounge but come the weekend the great outdoors beckons.

Love it already.

My made mates at the park--Luke a machine flying his quadcopter FPV with a Gopro camera filming us in the air, me flying a AXN Glider from Hobbyking and Roger flying a Addiction from Precision Aerobatics sold in Aussie.. fun day...

Watch Lukes FPV video-near the end you will see the crash Roger did hitting a goal post near the end of video, that Supernova will not let us forget..was not me tho, as already hit a tree with my Electric Shock balsa plane-- good news they are all rebuilt and flying- the greatest part of the video is the fact Luke was filming doing FPV with his quad..

I am trying to set up one of my Syma 107C Helis for fpv--but hitting a few problems-guess need to chat with Raptor, the machine on tech stuff. Now with bigger flying platforms have had success with a rc plane and Home made Quadcopter.

The costs are not cheap- Fat shark goggles at $299, plus a Fat Shark Dominator 5.8ghz Module at $32.Also the ,ImmersionRC 5.8Ghz Audio/Video Transmitter - FatShark compatible (600mw) $69 ,and a camera for $50.. however not using a ground station as yet because get at least a 1 klm flight with the Immersion..I did buy some different antennas that made a great difference for 5.8GHz Circular Polarized spiroNet Antenna for distance from the supplied ones for $35.

Forgot also a special battery for my headset Fat shark goggles as not using a land station $15

So total was around $500.. bearing in mind the plane or Quadcopter you might use..are extra..

However I can move my fpv system from a plane to a quad, and now maybe on two a few off road rc cars.

It is awesome fun, scares the hell out of me when the video flickers on my goggles when hitting nearly 2 klms distance away from me..keeps you on the edge!! Surprised
