Chinook RC Helicopter Review

Pros and Cons of the Chinook:
We are talking about the Micro Chinook not the Syma S022 Big Army Chinook two different birds, micro has infra red remote the big brother has a 3 Channel RC Radio Remote not infra red so can fly outside on a carm day.
I am into micro-helis. So to carry on this review:
- Can not fly outside, purely a indoor heli.
- Has amazing range for an indoor helicopter which allows you more control and better handling over a larger distance, and with the double rotor system, front and back you get unprecedented control.
- Was not sure if liked all plastic build heli.It does withstand a lot of crashes. I like stripping all my helis to know how they work. However was not that hard to break open. You really do not need to go to those crazy things I do.
- Has USB charging which is neat, saves charging from remote.
- Having two big coaxial blades makes this bird fly with some power.
Overall this indoor RC Chinook helicopter is one of the best, not only indoor but all helicopters in general, with it's front and back rotor/balance bar that gives double the power, control and ability, and a very reasonable price, i would recommend it to anyone that wants to start out, with it's small size but immense power and control it offers the fun and excitement needed, but the strength to withstand the learner crashes .
Always let the battery cool down for 15 minutes after a flight before recharging- Will save battery for much longer.
If you are interested in buying the Syma Chinook I only recommend :
Some Photos below:
I still view the Syma S107 should be your first RC Heli-Then add to your arsenal of Syma helicopters
Point to mention this is my review of the Syma Chinook remote Helicopter which I feel is really good for beginners-Costs around $23 not to expensive and will take some punishment from a beginner.

I have a Syma S026G Chinook. Both rotors are operating but the rear lower rotor is not turning giving no lift to the rear of the ‘copter. Is there a fix for this problem.
Thanks, Glyn.
Guess need more info-like any crashes, which most people have, on a crash did you cut throttle off? Sounds like you have a burnt out motor or wiring displaced-Did you have some crashes?
The Chinook is new straight out of the box, both front and rear rotors are operating. On the front both sets of blades are turning but on the rear only the top blades are turning the bottom blade next to the fuselage is stationary producing no lift.
When operating only the front is lifting so no flight.
thanks glyn
If this is brand new never flown I would maybe consider contacting the company you bought from to get it replaced.
I have been given a full refund and been told to keep the Chinook. I am guessing that lack of rotation of the rear low blades is not an unknown fault so could be repairable and would be grateful for viable advice and will then demonstrate that gratefulness by your suggested method. I have checked my suppliers’ website and found that they no longer have the Chinook in stock, this possibly explains why a replacement was not offered.
Regards, Glyn.
Where do I find a higher mah battery for my SO26G? Syma replacement batteries are fine but with shipping I can almost buy another heli. My heli will not get out of ground effect ie 6 to 12 inches.
Have you tried Amazon and Banggood? Also you could try Dale’s mod here for Syma 107 battery mod- link here
I just recently purchase the S026G from Amazon with the “DANCER” label and it flies great! I installed a 300mah battery and I’m getting precisely 10 minutes of flight. Kind of hard to fly at first but once you adjust the front and back rotor and also the trim, it’s easy to fly and enjoying my 10 minutes of air flight.
The “Dancers” seem to be a bad lot though. MANY MANY people (including me) have choppers that won’t go a foot off the table. Any fix for this? Battery? Remote calibration? Motors? I’ve used a computer USB and a 1 Amp plug in USB adapter to charge it. It doesn’t make a difference.
I unfortunately bought the thing with the Christmas order in Dec and put it away for a b’day gift in March. My son was VERY disappointed.
That is unfortunate as the Chinook by Syma was the best heli I had except for the Syma S107 which was just faster and fun to fly-have you joined our forum for help? Did you wait at least 15 minutes in between flights before recharging heli? If not your battery might be expired, bloated and weeping.Try opening up heli and replace battery, keep us posted-SF
does anyone have any insight to the whole “dancer”version of the 026g that people have complained about on amazon?
Yes, the word ‘DANGER’ is painted on the rear of the body on both sides. To some people the ‘G’ looks like a ‘C’, hence the word DANCER.
There is an unfounded rumor that the DANCER helicopters are ‘fakes’ even though they are actually Syma 026g choppers.
It is just one of those superstition things that gets started. I have several of these and the circuit boards are identical (which I bought from an extremely reliable source).
