To be fair, it's hard to look good when your police interceptor is a diesel Astra. :p

Haha! I thought it looked fun to! This seems popular in Japan and probably Malaysia 🙂

Ha! Where I live, they just got two new Dodge Chargers for intercepts.

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/.....73839.html

Can't find a pic of them other than them putting the decals on, but saw it for the first time today, and dang! it just screams "Go a head! Make my day!"

Too bad they'll never see action on the highways at high speeds…

that would just be bad arsed!

Then again, nothing deturs crime like a cop with: 1 a silver 44mag, 2 a 12 guage shotgun, and 3 a cop car like the Charger.

(Anybody else watch too many Clint Eastwood movies?)

EDIT: Just found the real version of the vid. Not our local cop, but hey, it doesn't make it any less AWESOME.

We've had chargers over here for quite sometime, now we have a couple of hammers lol. Hummers are state police though, so they could be anywhere. I think one lingers around where I live though.. Not my house, just the town.

Yikes!

And I thought the city's SWAT-surplus van was a little much... (a used 80's van that they let the vo-tech kids go wild with kevlar panneling and paint on)

Nothing beats their one undercover vehicle- a giant black SUV with blacked out windows, a crapload of antennia, and obvious municipal/police licenseplates.

Yeah, not obvious at all that there's a blacked out SUV with 20 antennas on it and the conspicuous blue plates parked outside your house. Maybe if you didn't look at it, you won't notice, but anything under 20 feet, you notice it. (esp with blacked out windows in civillian vehicles being illeagal)
