Once upon a time there was a guy looking around a huge town for some company. Down in an older part of town he found a clubhouse that was for people with the same interests as him . "Oh" he said to himself "this is a stroke of luck, a place to visit and talk to others."

He knocked on the brightly lit door. Saying “Hello is any one there” but there was no reply so bravely he tried the door. It was unlocked and from the distance there seemed to be echoes of people talking.

Where are they? he thought and went from room to room calling “hello I'm here“ wherever he went, one person dropped in but was seeking advice, the guy gave him what he could but the rooms seemed empty once more. Signing the visitors book in each room was bound to get a response  but it was rare.

Suddenly an official voice said "We are thinking of redecorating and sorting out our rooms as stuff is all over the place" the guy agreed that a revamp may help but would the people come and stay or just treat it as a walk in advice centre.

Should he stay and hope some others would turn up or cut his losses and move on?

He decided to visit occasionally with the hope that others may have visited in the mean time but the dust of time hung heavy around the corridor's. "Where are the caretakers?" he thought  "surely they might visit with a broom but the dust lay where it had settled. If only the broom cupboard was unlocked maybe I could clean an area"

To be continued, possibly
