I have a credit card and my debit card linked to my PayPal Profile and they work fine.

The only time you might have an issue might be if you don't have a card linked, or if your card has reached it's expiration date.

Never-my advice is to use software like CCleaner (free site cleaner) and never click from an email-much better to put paypal.com into a new browser as you get to the correct page-the whole idea of these emails is to get you to enter your card details-bingo you are in trouble-I get at least 50 a day from banks,and so called paypal account,etc all have been fakes-always go direct to web address not by email link.
