First, they need to be hosted on the internet. You can do this by uploading them to a free service like flickr (which is part of Yahoo. If you have a Yahoo account, you can sign into flickr with that) or photobucket.

Second, you need the image's URL. To get that, find the photo on the internet, then right-click it. If you're using Internet Explorer, click "properties" from the menu that comes up. At the bottom of the properties window, you'll see the URL. Copy this. If you're using Firefox or Chrome, right-click the image. In the popup menu there will be an option to copy the image URL.

Now that you have the URL copied, come back to this forum, and start your post, as normal. Click the tree icon in the reply header to add an image. Image Enlarger Paste the image URL into the appropriate space in the popup menu, and click "insert." None of the rest of the lines on that menu are important.

Great post Drewdane -The problem I see is if not done the way you explained I have to up my server cost to store all photos on sever-Had site crash in December that took me a lot of talking with  host server to fix the problem-all costs money. I know this can be a pain to join Flickr, however you still have the rights to your photos and can delete at any time should you want to leave this forum- Thank you

SF's been working on it, but so far you need to have a url to post from. (in other words, you need to use ones already on the web to post ones to the forum)

I've been wanting to post some pictures of a syma s107 that I saw at a local store to ask if it is genuine or fake but I don't know how to. If someone can give me clear instructions on how to add images from my desktop onto a new thread that would be fantastic!
