There's been big discussion here about those. On one hand, they *should* match the voltage and amperage of a usb, but on the other hand, there's been a fair number of people who have said it's done terrible things to their batteries. Personally, for something like a laptop cooling fan, or other usb powered device that's not critical to have exact voltage, go for it. But for anything critical, either get a good name-brand one from a store that you know will take it back if something goes wrong, (Or that you can at least complain to) or don't use it at all.
OK,seems a long time, but guess depends how much you depleted your battery, try not to kill it by over flying on one battery---

I bought this and it came with just the usb charger, no wall plug adapter.
I plug the usb into my computer and the big part glows red. As soon as I plug into the helicopter, the light turns off. I kept it plugged in for 70 min and I cant tell if its done charging. I assumed the light would turn back on when its done charging, but still nothing and I dont want to risk overcharging it.
Is there anyway to tell when it is fully charged since I dont have a wall plug with an indicator light?
Mine came with a wall charger and switches off after fully charged.
