2 years, at least. We did replace remote batteries.  Will try replacing heli batt. Thx!

Hi highlandcollie, crigon_04How long has your Syma been sitting dormant? I would suggest that maybe the battery in heli needs replacing and of course new batteries in remote

Hello! I'm new to rc flying. We received this as a gift about 2 years ago. With moving households, and life in general, we got it out the other night and it was great!  Then today we took it out and CRASH! It just quits in midair. Sometimes it doesn't respond to the controller, sometimes it does. 

Ive been reading about issues online and have not seen this as a common trouble. It is charged. New batteries in the controller. I am wondering if it has sat dormant for too long and I need to replace battery in heli? Or maybe something wrong with the gimbals?

any suggestions would be appreciated!
