Hi gregpolakow,

Yes you should follow that rule, being you can not feel the battery in the Syma107 you would feel it gets really warm after a flight, I fly helis and quads and planes batteries get really hot, letting any lipo battery cool down before recharging helps to stop bloating and weeping to give longer life smileys-confused-731584

Thanks for the welcome. I just unwrapped my first Syma, a gift from my wonderful wife. Love flying it. Had a little practice with a similar but smaller copter my son in law has, so I wasn't a complete klutz with it. So far I really like it. I watched a youtube on it that suggested 15 minutes of battery cool off time after charging before flying and 15 minutes of battery cool off time after flying before charging. Do you all follow this rule, or is it not necessary to do this every time?

Thanks JamDJ!  Good idea having two or 3 on hand to keep flying !  I appreciate your battery advice... it was spot-on.

Again, glad to be here!  Keep up the good work.

Hello All.  Very glad to be here and find some support.  I trust I can offer some back some time. I have one Syma S107 and am very happy with it's performance but have a challenge with it now that I replaced the battery.  Trying to find the right category to post in now.  Thanks all.

Greg
