My old standby is the Testor's Model glue in the RED tubes.

The blue non-toxic stuff is just outright garbage. I use the good red testors model glue for about anything that needs glued. The option would be the Testor's plastic cement, which comes in a glass jar, and is a little more expensive, but very easy to use and effective.

The plastic on the syma millitary helis is rather soft, fairly Styrene-esque. The model glue will work to glue about anything together, but not wood, hard resin models, or anything that requires specialty glues, such as PVC cement or Krazy Glu. The plastic cement welds soft plastic together by melting the plastic and "welding" it together like one single peice.

For the gun pods, I would say to use the Model Glue, while the body of the heli would require the plastic cement to repair cracks and whatnot.

I think we need SF to change the title of the forum from "Other Makes of Heli" To "Other brands of heli" since it's kinda not apparant to non-car-people that make means brand... Wink Don't worry, I guess it'd be SMG, (or SM?) you're alright, no harm done. Wink

i just noticed that one of the gun batterys on my cobra is coming loose,so i took out all the screws, then totally bottled splitting it ,because i just know i wouldn't get it back together ,wires and led don't seem to line up as good second time around,so i decided just to glue it ,i used the same cement for attaching the fletches on arrow shafts ,but can, anyone recommend a better, more solid adhesive?Cool
