Its not the lawyers that are getting me its the State of Kansas, parents have been failures to the children since day they were born and have had many chances to rectify their errors and have not but they want to give them another chance. It took me three years to adopt the first nephew and two years on the second one because the State gave alot of chances to parent. And the oldest grandson ive had since birth with no paperwork. The two grandchildren I just got Ive had 1 four diffrent times since birth and the other this is third time for her being with me and have decided its too expensive to keep doing time after time so cutting out middle man so to speak and fighting for legal gaurdianship.I dont let it get the best of me and to me its like playing chess with each making their move but in the end Ill have them because history in this case keeps repeating itself.

Today on craigslist I found a n i b   E flight Huey and considering its purchase because its based on the CP ive already had a few of but looks real good for its price. One of these days ill need to put more flying time in on some of my others before buying another one but I guess its a disease to have em all. Just cant seem to pass up broken helis and new ones people bought on a whim and couldnt fly and ultimately save me money on because I keep buying them and flying them. Hate to say it but still enjoy flying the 107 over some of the higher dollar ones I own  because I have not had to worry about crashes and repairing and the little beast has a couple hundred flights on it by me and alot of others ive let fly it.

I still save all my change in a jar and when i get enough go buy another heli with it so its not a new one every day or week and is cost effective and got alot of extra parts with some helis I have bought that maintains some of the fleet and bought some junkers for parts. But honestly have not had to replace one part on the 107 yet  and realize eventualy i will have to but so far so good. So my life is adopting children and flying helis and both are rewarding hobbies.

Sorry its been a month since ive been on but duty has called in the form of being in court several times recently including this morning. Between lawyers meetings and appearances Ive flat been busy and only have two flights in on the 600 rex now and still needs tweaked when I can get at it. Got one flight in on the repaired SR and a couple more on the 107 but thats not much for the month and I flew the 600 in the dark due to long days.I am impressed with the flybarless setup installed but still needs some ajustments before any serious flights. Now shopping to get 16 yr old a vehicle will eat up some time next couple weeks but by buying him a vehicle Ill gain some time not having to run him places. With 4 teens in house and 8yr old im always having to be on the go.Im looking forward to post some video soon because 14 yr old has been showing me how to do so. I hate getting older because the young ones out shine me in electronics know how these days.

I admire you buddy-I think of my life and realize I have never taken on so much responsibility as you have- God looking down on you,a turbine heli will show itself for you in some crazy way-faith and belief-there is such a thing called Karma, guess yours is really topped up-Take a bow,you deserve it!

Well it seems I get the job of raising the grandchildren,Ive had the 17 yr old since birth,I have adopted two nephews legally and the gained three grand daughters to raise and now have added another grandson and grand daughter to the mix. 36 children in thirty five years  and still keep taking more. What worries me is I have 17 grandchildren left and 5 great grands and whos just going to hand their kids over next. It wasnt the way I raised my children and dont see how they can just let go of theirs saying they want their own life and kids are not a part of it.

I am making headway on the new additions and have gotten some of the mess taken care of that the parents created and have established a course of actions in court. Between the tornado weather we are having and court I did not get much chance to fly and am chomping at the bit to fly the 8 helis I recently aquired. Attempted to fly a 450 inside and all went well but couldnt do much except to hover it and make sure it was in good condition. Did have time to install retracts during storms today in the airwolf body and added lighting to it. Now I have to disassemble and paint it.Still want a turbine heli but budget wont allow till next year, love hearing it spool up.If weather keeps me from flying next couple days going to head to local indoor bb ball court and fly indoors with the SR,s and the Rex 100.

I have been down that track with looking after my kids back in the late 80,s it was a very stressful time and costs a small fortune-but hey kids are worth the effort,we created the responsibility and have to make sure they get the best injection of love and advice for them to take on the world out there-Well done.

Great idea to show kids at school how to fly helis, also can give them a hobby to follow and enjoy. Now you spend as much time as it takes to get your kids settled and heal any scars mentally they might have, your helis will wait for you!

Take care now- SF

Sorry didnt reply faster but been in court taking legal gaurdianship of two more children. One room is filling up with helis and finding more daily on Craigslist due to people assuming the bigger birds are easy to fly and getting bored because they cant fly them, have bought several cheaply that way including a few Trex,s and even finding spare parts and crashed and banged helis to use for parts.

Problem is when I find a hobby I enjoy I kinda go all out and to excessive proportions.Next year get to visit  several schools and demonstrate flying to children and have bought a few 107s to let them try as well as taking some bigger helis to demonstrate with. Hoping to finish my big airwolf for flying events but slow getting it together and retracts put on it as well as the detailed pilots and led lighting.Been two buy dealing with agencies,State and local gov and being in court for the two new kids and getting them settled in and thats a hobby that gets expensive but hope to provide the children a better enviroment than they have had in the past. So my helis some days take a back burner. Hope to fly now that storms and winds have quit.

Have not had much flying time indoors or out with severe weather, court appearances and repairs on autos. Did score a package deal on a E flight tandem,Blade SR,MCX and CX3 like new with spares for 250.00 and after storms stop and I get some time will attempt to fly all of them at least twice. The first SR I bought sits fixed but not flown yet and have my eye on two TREX 450s with aftermarket bodies that havent been installed yet as well as a ton of spare parts. My display cab is full of minis and my shelves are getting full of 450s and up and soon will need a whole room for parts ,helis and chargers. It seems to be another illness thats growing to ecsessive proportions like when I collected Lionel trains two years back and RC planes I had hanging from ceilings in every room.

I dont know somedays wether it tests my brain or just frustates it .The Rex is a great heli but sometimes nerve racking thats why I have several others to fly just for fun. The 250 Rex I just dont care for so sold it long while ago and now have a 5 6 700 series with 700 still boxed and put flybarless systems on the others till i can get to set it up to fly the newest 700.Recently got a chance to buddy box on a large scale turbine and chomping at the bit to be able to afford one one day.But at almost 20 grand setup it will be a long while before that happens. Some days I think id rather repair them and set the up more than flying especialy after a few mishaps in a given week.Got the SR repaired and adjusted and will attempt flying it in a few days but with tornadoes the past couple days sweeping through and the rains it might be a week or so. Hate to repair them and then sit.

The Rex is an awesome heli-just waiting for the Blade Mqx Quad to arrive-can not help myself, still a cheap hobby compared to others- You sound like you are having fun with your helis and doing mods and repairs to them, that is the best part to me is learning
how to repair them, just tests my brain

A couple weeks ago I purchased the Protocol Stealth Hawk that has the same mechanics of my Skyline from the same manufactuer.Nice looking midsize heli and flies as true and same traits as my Skyline, lights are great on it and finally have gotten to fly it twice.Getting ready to add a Blade SR as soon as iI can get some time to go pick it up from a guy that crashed it and bought the repair parts but hasnt fixed it yet and will be busy tinkering and flying it soon.

Still enjoying the indoor helis due to it being rainy and very windy past week and busy going to court on children as I now have 8 in the house now and thats up from six I had in April and up 5 from the three I have had for years so its difficult except late nights to fly.Only had rex out one day and had some issues in the wind and have been tinkering with the flybarless rotor head to fine tune it and had to change blade type to a little longer as stock blades didnt work well with the new setup.
