I figured it out; it has to be a small, dark room with no appliances on. Yes, it is a new heli. It actually works fine, thank you!

Using all caps in a word or two is fine, we all do it to show emotion,

just be mindful of your headings.

Enrique,

First of all, welcome to the forum! We are glad you are here to share your concerns

with us, share your experiences and maybe learn a thing or two! However, please keep

in mind that using all caps is considered bad etiquette as we perceive it as yelling, not

a really good way to start. Yes, our frustrations can run high, but keep in mind being polite

and just take a deep breath before typing anything.    That said....

Second of all........You said that you tried it in a darkened room and it still doesn't work very well.

Now, that tells me you tried to fly it a regular room first. What seems to be the problem that would lead

you to believe something is wrong with the remote? What is your heli doing or not doing? Is it

reacting the same way in the second (darker) room?  Maybe the problem isn't with your IR Tx but

maybe something in the heli itself. Is it new? Any successful flights until now?

Take another deep breath and think about your previous flights and then post back.Yes,

we all want to help each other: teach, learn, and share here. You'll find that's what this forum is all about!

Yeah, I have a Syma s107g and it's great...except for the INFRARED control!!!

I tried using it in a dark room with all appliances off, and it STILL doesn't work very well.

Anybody got any ideas?double-thumbs-up-thanks-smiley-emoticon
