All depends, they usually don't break if you hit them with a hammer, but they had a bad batch ealier this year that break VERY easilly.

How common is the shearing off of those pins?? Mine sheared off in less than a dozen flights. I bought a replacement unit with shaft but had to do some filing in order to get it to fit . The replacement had a wider and larger diameter boss for the set screws that attach the top piece to the shaft. Also mine has a force fit pin rather than a long screw to hold the balance bar in place.

Maybe a fake??

I have been reading up on what it could be, but I did not see anyting that sounds like my issue.   when I hold the heli it will hover fine and is not shaky or wobble.  once the heli starts to move the upper blades start to wobble and hit the lower blades.  here is a video that shows the issue so you can get a better idea of the issue.

feature=youtu.be

I put a new set of blades on it but that did not help (1A on the top and 1B on the lower)  I made sure it was clean of hair and the gears look free and good.  I did notice that the only thing that holds the upper blades in place are the dog bones going to teh balance bar.  I "think" they should be locked in to teh hub and both the "pins" are broken?  but I am guessing this on what i have read and can't find any good diagrams to confim this.

before i just start ordering parts it would be nice to know that i am getting the right ones.
