Yes, after buying many Syma helis, not saying this is your problem but found bad battery connections in remote, as some of the connectors were bent away meaning there would be a bad connection when you have remote in your hand as batteries touch then do not, so bent them for tighter fit...not sure if this is your problem

Hello all,

My S107, which I wholeheartedly appreciate and enjoy... has frequent bouts with connection issues with the transmitter.  I was given this copter in new condition by a neighbor without paperwork so excuse me if I'm not following proper procedures but I rarely get a connection between the heli (receiver) and the transmitter when I turn them on.  I usually have to play with the controls and switches to get the copter to receive the commands from the transmitter to begin rotating and take off.  Yes, I'm using fresh AA's in the trans and I've experimented with turning each on first or last and also running the throttle on the transmitter up and down before turning on the copter, in all combinations but I have no connection about 75% of the time until I play with it for awhile.

Anybody else experience and rectify this?

Thank you guys.  It's great to have somewhere to go and get advice and sharer experiences.

Greg
