Taking care with the battery life

I have a new S107G coming while I wait for a part for my current one.  Until I read this forum I didn't know you had to let the battery cool down.  To make sure I look after my new S107G can you tell me if I have got this right

 

1) Take helicopter out of package and charge fully.

2) Let the battery cool down for 15 minutes before using the helicopter.

3) Use the helicopter.  Never let the battery fully drain.

4) Let the battery cool down for 15 minutes before charging the helicopter again.
