I can see the gears through the bottom.  I looks like the bottom blade gear is missing the gear teeth that make it move.  I can move the gear by moving the bottom blade I see the gear move.

Thank you.  Time to get some spare parts.

I'm guessing it's a busted gear. Look over the gears for the bottom.

As for posting 111 questions on the 107 forum, don't worry. It's a Syma forum. There's this for all syma helis, and one for other makes of heli.

(some people are getting confused on what a "Make" is compaired to a model-make is the brand, the model is 107, 111, 102, etc., so a 57 Chevy Bel Aire is Make: Chevy; Model: Bel Aire Year: 1957)

Be carefull trying to open up the 111g-it's a son of a gun to open up to repair and put back together.

Sorry for posting a s111g question on the s107 forum but I cannot find a s111g forum and the helicopters seem to be similar.

Our s111g helicopter hit the wall and now the bottom blade does not rotate?  Any suggestions for how to proceed before I take it apart with no real plan.

You help will be greatly appreciated,

Rachel
