Hi there long term lurker first timer poster. I have been flying (badly), fixing and moding 107g's for about two years. I just picked up a 107n from menkind for £15. I really like It. The xbox styled controller is great. It is slower than my 107g's but I have modded all of them. Overall just as stable and reliable but different enough to warrant buying one. Has any one tried the S 36 yet? Really looking forward to getting my hands on one of those.

That's interesting. When  I first saw pics of it on Syma's site, it looked like the 800g, without the 4ch function, and a giant tail motor, but that looks like they've used the smaller big heli motors for the main motors, and only the basic gear layout of the 800g. (Although I could be wrong, since I can't compare the size of the motors to the ones on the regular 107 or the big helis. I'm not really sure what difference they'd make in all practicality, since you still only need a certain number of revs to maintain altitude, unless the big tail motor set pushes it up so much that it looses a lot of lift. (Not to mention the larger tail motor weighs much more, and it's have to overcome that much more weight to pick it up.)

Keep us posted on this one!

Hi everyone, I've had a crap Christmas.....boiler went down on Christmas Eve and finding someone to fix it was like searching for Hen's teeth, so spent all Christmas Chilling!! All was not in vane found a new Syma 107N on Amazon for £14.75 in a colour that I don't have "blue". It arrived this morning and I have noticed many new features, all of which are very exciting.

a) the landing gear, the supports are rounded and not angular, gives it a bit of bounce on a hard landing.

b) charging point is now a round pin like plug.

c) gears have a guard round them.

d) tail bar is better (body end)

e) body is different

f) motors are up front, side by side.

g) balance bar is different.

h) handset is different, it also has a reset feature.

All in all someone has sat down and done their homework, the handset is different to use and there's no spring on the throttle. First couple of flights I did hard land it and because of new landing struts it really did bounce.

I really am thrilled with this new edition to my collection and have taken a few crappy photos, I apologise for the quality, blame it on my inner child. I just wanted you to see all the new features. I will do some better one's soon!
