I would never buy a complete heli or s107 motors off of ebay, but for most of these helis, it's the ONLY place that you can get a lot of the parts. Whenever possable, I try to use amazon, but for a lot of parts, especially ANY part for the millitary helis, ebay is the only place I know of that sells them. People buy these helis, and unfortunatly, part them out like a poor corvette. The shame is, the only way to replace a part for a military heli that is specific to military helis, they have to part one out. Of course, I wouldn't buy batteries off of ebay because they're liable to be ones laying around from parted out helis. (I'm guessing a lot of them are from dead helis people returned for one reason or another, i.e. dead batteries and motors) I'd assume most of the parted out s107's would be fakes, and that means the bad fake motors.

Yep kinda figured that but was hoping  somebody new of a store or hobby shop that has them.

just seems there's so many scammers on eBay anymore, but thanks anyway.

does anybody know were you can get the s107R3 receiver boards? i bin looking around for a while now and all i can find out there are the newer R5 boards.all my helis except my new firebird have the r3 in them..just don't like the way the firebird fly's with r5 board so I'm gonna switch it out, if i can find a s107r3 board somewhere.
