Pairing S107G with new S107 Remote

I have a Red S107G heli that flies like a dream. I dropped the remote control, and it broke a few pieces. Instead of just replacing it, I bought another S107, and got it in the mail today.

 

The remote/S107 work fine, but I just like my 107G better.  I cannot pair them.  I turned the remote off, and the 107G off.  Turned them both on, and it just won't pair.  I've tried every channel, and tried throttling, etc. 

 

What am I doing wrong?

You might have bought a fake heli first off,so your new remote will not bind with genuine heli board-just a thought!
