I have tried it both ways, heli then controller, and vice versa.

I would first take it back to the seller to exchange it but if that's not an option try to figure out if it's the helicopter or the controller.  Again, if it's the controller I can help you with that.

The controller should have a green light not red, the red is when on charge to the heli.

Did you turn the controller first and then the helicopter?  I'm no expert but I was doing it the wrong way and couldn't make it bind either until I did it like that.  If it's the controller what's giving you trouble don't buy a new one shoot me a line, maybe I can help you.

I have just gotten my first s107, very excited. But it's not working as I'd hoped.

I charged the heli using the usb cable and put fresh batteries in the controller. I turned them both on and I got the rotors to spin twice for a couple seconds, and then nothing. I can't get the heli to respond to the controller at all. The controller has a bright steady red light and the heli has a flashing red/blue light on the front and a flickering red light inside the body.

THey seem to be charged and ready to go. I've tried all three frequencies (A B & C). Frown
