It sounds like a damaged aerial to me.
Have you caught the wire on the helicopter, or knocked the one on the transmitter?
If so you may need to replace the aerial with a new piece of wire.
No trees were harmed in the sending of this message; however, a significant number of electrons were slightly inconvenienced.
I have the same problem as madsamoan.My antenna is fine.I'm working now to see if I have a bad motor.If that doesn't work then I am going to say I have a conrol board problem.By the time I get through I could spend the cost of a new plane.I'm getting tired of fixing a new lane to make it fly or teying to return it to the seller.I join madsamoan in his frustration.
