Even the SlLGHTEST difference in air-pressure will cause drift, like Redfive said.

An opened and closed door, heat coming on, etc. Remeber the 107 is extremely

lightweight and honestly, that's 1/2 the fun of flying them!

Again, good luck, happy and safe flying, and welcome to the forum!

Please post often!

Drafts cause movement as do thermal currents from heaters, holding the 107 steady needs practise.

I was wondering when just hovering with a S107G is it normal for the helicopter to drift around a little bit or should the gyro keep the thing perfectly still?

Perfectly normal.

I have an S-107 and an x56, which is a quad-copter, larger and heavier than the S-107, but still subject to drift.  My understanding is eliminating drift requires a larger, heavier bird with GPS (satellite) control, which presently will cost upwards from $1,000.
