Well, here's the first thing--

the light only comes on if it is done charging. If it is not done charging, no light.

If you plug it in without the helicopter atached, it will have the light.

If the charger gets hot, then it is charging. If it does not get hot/warm after a few minutes (like 10-15) then it is not charging.

I do not trust the wall chargers, simply because they are not made for these helicopters specifically. They say they are, but the problem is that they are not made by syma, and different helis have different charging plugs. All 3 of mine have different ones! The worst part is that some have the same (like my yellow 107 and s102) but the polarity is backward.

If it is not working, a new usb charger is like $2.50.

That's where I got mine. Works fine.

50+ charges.

Carefully align the guide-rails and pins

when inserting into Syma.

Can you try a different known-to-be-working usb port?

Or, a different computer?

Perhaps a friend's computer?

This will eliminate one or the other, either your

computer usb port is not sending current or the usb cable

is bad.

You are correct, the usb cable should light up strong when first

plugged into the computer's usb port; then go dark when

plugged into the Syma's charging port and while charging;

then slowly flicker when approaching full charge, and finally

glow strong again (like the beginning) when fully charged (50-55 min?)

Hope this helps.

(Could be just a bad usb cable, which is available on several sites.)Smile

Mine won't charge, when I plug the usb into my computer or apple usb charger nothing happens. The light on the USB cable doesn't come on nor will it charge the Helicopter?
