Crashed my S107C into the ceiling, a bit fell off, need help to identify where it came from.
Need helping identifying a part which broke off.

Yeah it looks like one of the canopy anchors but really if it was it would be odd to be covered in grease.

Hi zedorda, thanks. Nope the canopy seems firmly attached - the black fixtures that the topmost screws go into are still there and intact (in case that's what you were thinking).

Hi guys,

 

I got a bit overconfident with my new copter and flew it into the ceiling. It then came down quite fast and when it 'landed' this piece had broken off (pictures below). The piece is quite greasy which suggests it's come from somewhere important, and it seems to be in one piece rather than snapped off. I don't see it in the parts diagram in the manual.

 

The copter seems still to work, but I don't want to push it as presumably this part was in there for a reason.

 

Does anyone recognise it? I'd like to put it back in.
