Hi all-

 

Just got an S107 from Woot.com.  The first flight was going well until I tried landing on the kitchen island.  The helicopter went over the side and hit the floor.  Since then it seems like the motors are working at half speed.  I hit full throttle but it won't lift off.  Every once in a while the motors will spool up for a split second but then it goes back down.  The green led on the circuit board flashes slowly when I hit the throttle but that could be normal.

 

Any idea what I did?  Since Woot is a closeout site could the battery be bad this soon.  Not sure if I have the skills to solder in new parts.  Is there anywhere to buy just the helicopter and not the controller?  I could keep this one for spares I guess.

 

The brief time I had with the S107 was fun.  I want to keep flying.
